IMMERSED Jazz Concert – Artistic elevation, enduring heritage

Nearly a month after announcing the Living Heritage project, GG Corporation continued its mission to propagate refined life values through two flagship activities: the Living Heritage – Legacy for the Future exhibition and the international jazz event IMMERSED at GEM Center. More than cultural programming, these events offered a space where knowledge, emotion and humanistic spirit converged, inviting audiences to a deep reflection on Vietnamese heritage in contemporary life.

The exhibition presented a layered display where art, calligraphy, photography and digital platforms intertwined to narrate the lives, ideas and contributions of Vietnamese figures with international influence across medicine, finance, the arts and culture.

A central highlight was the launch of the e-book The Universal Within – Vũ trụ của TÂM (Vol. 1), the inaugural volume of the annual Living Heritage series. The publication profiles global Vietnamese figures selected for both achievement and a humanistic, resilient life philosophy that inspires across generations.

Featured figures include Associate Prof. Dr. Phan Toàn Thắng, a pioneer in regenerative medicine; Sir Niels Lan Doky (Đỗ Kỳ Lân), a Vietnamese–Danish jazz legend with over 46 albums and performances at venues such as Royal Albert Hall and Carnegie Hall; and Nguyễn Thị Xuân Phượng, a 96-year-old filmmaker and painter recognized for lifelong creative contribution.

The exhibition showcased the precious calligraphy “An Trú” by the late Zen Master Thích Nhất Hạnh alongside an ikebana piece by artist Nixon Trần, forming a visual meditative space that evokes stillness, mindfulness and inner balance — the tilted vase holding a half-open bloom became a symbol of “finding repose amid motion.”

Visitors experienced music on a C. Bechstein piano, the The Universal Within Aroma Therapy collection and the Living Heritage Lifestyle collection — creative blends of art, contemporary aesthetics and wellbeing — all contributing to a multisensory environment for public reflection and connection with Vietnamese heritage.

From 7pm the IMMERSED Jazz Concert opened, guiding the audience into a journey where international jazz met contemporary Vietnamese sensibilities. Framed as an emotional flow, IMMERSED led listeners into the world of elevated jazz — free, refined and subtly rooted in Vietnamese spirit.

More than a concert, IMMERSED became a multisensory encounter where music, lighting and stage composition merged with artists’ emotional arcs into a cohesive whole. The audience did not merely listen — they touched the music and were invited into the artists’ inner worlds, experiencing the “purity” that Living Heritage aspires to: living with excellence, humanity and depth.

Though the performance ended, its resonance remained: inspiration spread, cultural roots were reconnected in a contemporary register, and attendees were invited to join the ongoing work of preserving, amplifying and elevating Vietnamese values globally. IMMERSED thus stands as more than an event — it is an invitation to continue nurturing creativity, inner resilience and service to community, in the spirit of Living Heritage.
